Digital Photographs that record details of the Chelsea School of Art bespoke campus before its sale and demolition 1999



These photographs were taken at the Manresa Road site of Chelsea College of Art Design (now demolished). The images show objects and detials that were touched and used by the buildings creative inhabitants.

Each year, as part of the ritual of putting on 'the final show' all the spaces were painted with white emulsion to prepare them ahead of the hang.

Each annual layer applied on top of another forming a recorded history through the unique tactile surfaces of the architectural furnitures.
